Left Book Club copies are sent out by standard post. Please ensure that the delivery address you supply is serviced by your local post office reliably. We dispatch books once a week from our London office. Our delivery times will depend on the destination and the local postal services of your particular country. The below estimated delivery times are a general guide.
Unfortunately, the Left Book Club can not guarantee postal delivery to countries where postal services are unreliable. If you are unsure of your postal service and would like to set up a courier delivery for your subscription, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first book in your subscription will be dispatched from our London office. All subsequent books in your subscription will be mailed from our mailing house. These are generally sent out in the second week of the month, but this can vary. We are experiencing some postal delays to certain EU countries at the moment, due to the UK leaving the EU, so please bear this in mind. Orders of backlist books are mailed from our London office, and these are mailed once a week, depending on stock. If we have to order more stock from our warehouse, it can take between 3-4 weeks to fulfil your order.
Your subscription will begin with the most recently published book in the collection you have chosen. For example, if you subscribe to the contemporary collection in November, and November's book is a classic, you will receive the October book, as that will be the most recently published book in the collection you have chosen. If you choose to subscribe to all 12 books, you will receive the book that is published in the month you subscribe. (For example, if you subscribe on 31st August, you will receive August's book. If you subscribe on 1st September you will receive September's book).
Yes. You can change this by logging into your account, picking a new subscription and going through the checkout process. In checkout, you'll see a button which asks you to approve your new choice of subscription, and that it will replace the existing subscription. The payment software will automatically prorate what you pay so you will not pay twice.
Yes. Both monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew. You can cancel them at any time. You can do this by logging in to your account, going to your account profile, and clicking cancel. Your account will remain on the website and you can renew it by logging in, choosing a new subscription and completing the payment process.
Yes, you can do this in your account area, once you are logged in. Afterwards all books will be sent to that address.
You can update your card payment information in your account area. We do not store your card details on our website. Our website is linked to a payment platform.
Simply login with your email address and password, choose a membership option and go through the payment process.
Click 'Gift Cards' in the menu. This takes you to a new page. Type your unique voucher code in the box to redeem it.
Yes, if you're a member. Login and the 'buy' button will appear next to each book on the book pages. You can purchase any backlist title.
You can buy any subscription as a gift, just click the 'get as a gift' option. After you pay, you'll see the voucher onscreen. Make a note of the code, or print out the voucher. You'll also get a copy of the voucher emailed to you. You can give your gift when the time is right.
Anyone with the code can redeem the gift membership. To redeem the code, click 'Gift Cards' in the menu. Type your voucher code in the box and your account will be activated. Then we'll start sending books!
Gift memberships auto-renew. The buyer can cancel the gift membership at any time by logging into their account.
