Policing and Colonialism with Adam Elliott-Cooper

This course introduces the idea that British policing has its roots in Britain's imperial history. By exploring how policing evolved from its colonial origins, the course enables us to see how capital accumulation, racial hierarchy and repression of dissent are all characteristics of the police and prison systems, operating in varying forms.
Complete the course and get the chance to join a live online session with Adam on Wednesday 16th September at 7pm.
